"Women and the 21 Century - Feminist Alternatives" Conference

Antico with several international feminist organisations and networks are organizing a Global Conference " Women and the 21 Century - Feminist Alternatives", in Cairo on 16-18 Dec. 2010.

This conference is initiated with the aim of strengthening the feminist discourse and pushing forward alternatives to fundamentalist movements, ruling economical system, militarism and neo-colonialism. We wish to contribute to the global uncovering of the links between patriarchy, capitalism and militarism and to give our part to the struggle for separating religion from state and politics, as a precondition for achieving full citizenship for women and men.
